Madge Rodeback Campbell, 80, passed away November 25, 2012 at the Ashley Regional Medical Center in Vernal. She was born March 29, 1932 in Vernal to Noah and Hannah Harrison Rodeback. Madge married Leland Doyle Campbell in 1950. They raised three children of their own and provided a home for many other children. She worked at Safeways grocery store for over 25 years and was a very giving and loving person. She enjoyed collecting dolls, growing beautiful flowers, and reading. A trait she handed down to her children and grandchildren. Madge was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints and was a dedicated temple worker. She is survived by her son; Martin Terry (Linda) Campbell, of Vernal: brothers; Charles Albert (Jeanie) Rodeback, of LaMirda, California; Wilber Ray Rodeback of Morland, Idaho, sisters; Janis and the late (Nyle) Bigelow of Vernal, and Gwen (Verl) Smith of Highland, Utah, son in law; Martin Cook and daughter in law; Mary Bartels, 8 grandchildren, and 15 great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband; Leland Campbell Sr., son; Leland Campbell Jr., daughter; Kathryn Lanora, also her brothers Shirley and Clyde, and sister Norma. Funeral services will be conducted Thursday, November 29, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Maeser 3rd Ward LDS Chapel ( 2575 North 1500 West) Friends and family may call at Blackburn Vernal Mortuary Wednesday evening from 6-8 pm at the Chapel 1 hour prior to services at the chapel. Burial will be in the Vernal Memorial Park under the care and direction of the Blackburn Vernal Mortuary.
