Marjorie Yeaman Collier passed away October 17, 2012 at the Avalon Care Center in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was born September 5, 1933 in Twin Falls, Idaho to Charles and Anne Yeaman. In 1948, she moved with her parents and brothers, Ronald and Donald to Tooele, Utah. There she met her sweetheart, Harlen Collier. They were married on August 6, 1951 in Elko, Nevada. From there, they moved to Rangely, Colorado where Harlen worked in the oilfield. During their 62 years of marriage, they traveled around the world, visiting and living in many countries. Marge loved to travel, meet new people and found happiness wherever she was. Due to health problems, Marge and Harlen moved last year to Salt Lake City to be near family. They have two daughters, Linda Rios and Julie Baker, and one son, Kelvin Collier, four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Graveside services will be held Friday, October 26, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at the Vernal Memorial Park in Vernal, Utah. Arrangements were entrusted to the care of the Blackburn Vernal Mortuary. In lieu of flowers, because of Marges love of music, donations can be made in her name to the Mr. Hollands Opus Foundation (www.mhopus.org) to promote musical education in the schools.
