Marjorie "Marge" Lee Maxfield was born April 2, 1930, the oldest of six children in Lyman, Wyoming, to the union of Lelan Bluemel and Ava Walker. Marjorie was untied in Holy Matrimony to J. Alden Maxfield in 1951. This union was blessed with seven children. Margo loved crochet and won first place in the Uintah County Fair. Marge from a child was the cook in the family. She was known for her homemade noodles, her pie, her cinnamon rolls, and her raison filled cookies. She was an active member of the LDS Faith through out her life and held many different calling in the LDS Church. To know her was to love her. Marge mad her transitions to her heavenly father on Sunday, August 20, 2017 at 7:10 pm. Marge will be missed and our love for her will continue in the hearts of her children: Ava Cole, Lucy Bartlett, Melissa Coulter, Sarah Barney, Ted Maxfield, and Zade Maxfield; 25 grandchildren;27 great grandchildren; her brother, Rodney Bluemel and her sister Ethel Coats; plenty of nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews, and a host of other relatives and friends. Marge was preceded in death by her parents, Lelan and Ava; husband, Alden; brothers, Robert and Reynolds; sister, Maryett, son, Blair, and her grandson, Lance. Funeral services Marjorie Maxfield, age 87, of Vernal, will be conducted on Saturday, August 26, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at the Vernal 4th Ward LDS Chapel (235 East 600South). Family and friends may call at the chapel from 9:00-10:45 prior to the services. Burial will be in the Rock Point Cemetery, under the care and direction of the Blackburn and Sons Vernal Mortuary.
