Maryann Long Stevens, 57, a resident of Red Mesa, Colorado passed away peacefully in Golden, Colorado on October 6th, 2018.
Maryann was born March 16, 1961 in Logan, Utah to Lowell and Fern Long (Vernal, Utah). She was the first born of 7 children, her siblings are Bryan Long (Sheila), Paul Long, Debbie Atwood (Dennis), Carolyn Long, Kevan Long (Charlotte), and Kent Long (Becky).
Maryann is survived by her loving husband, Cully Stevens of 31 years. They were married and sealed for Time and all Eternity in the Salt Lake City, Utah LDS Temple on July 16, 1987. They have two sons, Scott Stevens and Morgan (Melissa) Stevens, along with 4 grandchildren that were the "Joy and Sunshine" in her life; Harley Jeter, Gui Jeter, Keylie Stevens and Brookelynn Stevens.
Maryann had a kind and compassionate spirit, yet she was feisty, with a great sense of humor. She loved crafts, music, and spending time with family and friends. She spent her time serving in various callings for the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter- Day Saints. She had a deep love of her Savior, Jesus Christ.
Funeral services will be Wednesday, October 17, 2018 at 10:00 AM at the Red Mesa LDS Ward Chapel. (6848 Hwy 140, Red Mesa, CO). Viewings will be Tuesday evening from 6-8 PM at the Red Mesa Chapel and on Wednesday one hour prior to the services. Viewing on Thursday, October 18, 2018 at the Blackburn & Sons Vernal Mortuary from 6-8 PM and on Friday from 10:00-11:00 prior to traveling to Cemetery. Burial and Graveside services will be Friday, October 19, 2018 at 11:00 AM at the Maeser Fairview Cemetery, Vernal, Utah. Services are under the direction of the Blackburn & Sons Mortuary. In lieu of flowers please make donation to help pay for funeral expenses.
