Michele Anderton, age 52, passed away peacefully on January 6th, 2016 in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was born on October 27th,1963 in Logan, Utah, to Kenneth and Jean Anderton. Michele is survived by her mother Jean Siddoway Anderton; daughter Kennedy Anderton; sisters Melanie Anderton Blaser, Camille Anderton Johnston and Angelie Anderton. She is preceded in death by her father Kenneth G. Anderton. During high school she was a member of the National Honor Society and was on the drill team. After graduating from Uintah High School, Michele attended Utah State University. While attending college, she was active in the Kappa Delta Sorority where she formed many lifelong friendships. She graduated from Utah State University with a Bachelor's Degree in Business Marketing. After moving to Salt Lake City, Utah, she worked in the field of human resources for many years. She later moved to Vernal, Utah, where she was most recently employed as Director of Human Resources for Adler Hot Oil Service. Michele was blessed with a bright and capable mind. She valued education and excelled in her academic pursuits. Michele was outgoing, approachable and made those around her feel accepted and loved. She made friends easily and treated her friends like family. She was an engaging conversationalist and entertained people with her quick wit and fun sense of humor. She loved traveling to warm places, especially the beach. Michele was an adoring mother to Kennedy and treasured aunt to her nieces and nephews. She found joy in the innocent and sweet personalities of children, and loved recounting their amusing stories and escapades. She loved animals and had a special bond with cats. She cherished time spent with her friends and family. She will be greatly missed by all those who knew her. Funeral services will be Monday, January 11, 2016 at 11:00 AM at theVernal 7th Ward Chapel (100 North 850 West). A viewing will be one hour prior to the services at the Chapel. Burial will be in the Maeser Fairview Cemetery, under the direction of the Blackburn Vernal Mortuary.
