Mildred A. Tadlock, age 82 of Vernal, Utah passed away at her home on July 30, 2013. She was born in Raymondville, Texas on March 23, 1931 to Ed Frank and Hazel Hall Williams. Mildred moved to Vernal 51 years ago from Farmington, New Mexico. She was a Member of the Episcopal Church and a Preceptor Pi Sorority Life Member. She traveled for many years in her motor home and loved to fish and go on daily car rides. She enjoyed visiting the Senior Center and eating lunch with her friends. Her dog Toes was her constant companion and her dear pet. Mildred is survived by her son: Sam (Tearsa) Tadlock, daughter; Carla Peters, loving companion; D.E. Mike McCartney, sister; Frances (James) Bonner, five grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, and two brothers. Funeral services were held Friday, August 2, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at the Blackburn Vernal Mortuary with a viewing 1 hour prior to her services. Burial will be in the Maeser Fairview Cemetery under the care and direction of the Blackburn Vernal Mortuary.
