Naomi T. Gardner

Our loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt passed away on June 16, 2020 at her home in Vernal, Utah surrounded by her family. Naomi was born in Provo, Utah to Stanley Glen and Thelma Oaks on February 27, 1941. She grew up in Vernal, Utah. On July 14, 1960 she married her sweet heart Claryn Lee Gardner, their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple on June 24, 1965. They had seven children 5 girls and 2 boys. She loved camping, fishing, gardening, playing the piano, cooking, playing sports and spending time with her family.

Naomi was survived by her spouse, Claryn Lee Gardner; children, Debbie (Elvis) Prescott of Neola, Utah; Lesa (Rod) Morrison of Vernal, Utah; Jeff (Cindy) Gardner of Vernal, Utah; Janet McCormick of Evanston, Wyoming; Judy (David) Barton of Vernal, Utah; Cristy (Jake) Crookston of West Jordan, Utah. 16 Grandchildren, 40 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great -Great Grandchild; brother, GaLynn (Lila) Oaks.

She was preceded in death by her parents; grandson, Rowdy Prescott; son, Gary Gardner; sister, Dora Firth; brother Gail Oaks. Graveside services will be Saturday, June 20, 2020 at 10:00 AM at the Dry Fork Cemetery. Viewings Friday evening from 4-8 PM at Blackburn Vernal Mortuary

 Graveside services will be Saturday, June 20, 2020 at 10:00 AM at the Dry Fork Cemetery. Viewings will be at Blackburn Vernal Mortuary Friday, June 19, 2020 from 4:00-8:00 PM and on Saturday from 9:00-9:30 prior to traveling to Cemetery.
