Natalie "Blackface" Croweagle of Vernal. Utah. Passed away January 14, 2016 at LDS Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah. She was 59 years old. Born in Brocket Alberta, Canada on August 9, 1956 to Alfred and Delfhine Littleplume Croweagle. A member of the Backface Siksika nation. Married to Fredrick for 42 years, they meet in Seattle, Washington and had four children together. They moved to Vernal, Utah in 2002. Natalie had the biggest heart. She was a thoughtful wife, mother, grandma and friend, anyone could ask for. She always was going out of way for the people she loved and cared for. Natalie loved to listen to her oldies, her favorite was Elvis Presley. She also liked to watch her cooking shows to find new recipes. Mom would make beautiful native beadwork. What she loved and valued the most was being a grandma, with a total of 23 grandchildren. Natalie is survived by her husband, Frederick De Herrera; sons, Derrick DeHerrera (Tiffany Tapoff), Christopher DeHerrera, Gilbert Perze, Melvin Jones; daughters, Crystal DeHerrera, (Gifford "Chomps" Reevis) Moring Star DeHerrera Webb (Vince Webb); siblings, Wilford Croweagle "Blackface", Oliver Croweagle "Blackface" 23 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents and her sisters and brother. Funeral Mass will be Thursday, January 21, 2016 at 2:00 pm at the St. James Catholic Church. A Rosary will be Wednesday evening from 6-7:00 pm followed by a wake at the St. James Catholic Church. (138 West 100 North) Burial will be in the Vernal Memorial Park, under the direction of Blackburn Vernal Mortuary.
