Patsy Jo Story

Patsy Jo Story, age 69, life time residents of Meeker, passed away July 30, 2014 at Pioneers Memorial Hospital in Meeker with her family by her side. She was born April 4, 1945 in Meeker Colorado to Leasil and Josephine Thompson French. Patsy married the love of her life, Larry Story. She enjoyed camping, fishing, going on vacation with her husband, daughters and their families. While in her younger years she loved hunting for arrow heads. Patsy was very strong in her beliefs. She will be greatly missed by all. She is survived by her husband, Larry; two daughters, Stacy dawn (Delbert) Griswold and Shawna Marie (Dave) Raes; grandchildren, Kaylena Miller, Cole Griswold, Trent Randall and Dusti Parks; great grandchildren, Reese, Keyara, Clay, Brett, Ayla, Jackson, Baylie, Josephine, Ezra, Kable; sister, Margeret Davis and Shirley Randall. She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Buddy French; sisters, Charlene Spoon, Betty Pitchard and Bonnie French. Graveside services will be Saturday, August 2, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at the Highland Cemetery. A private family viewing will be held one hour prior to the services.
