Rae was born in Vernal Ut. To Owen and Pearl Johnson. Beloved wife, mother and friend. She was often called Stormy in her younger years due to her temper, which could be epic when it was directed at you! She was a staunch champion of the underdog, and always the biggest supporter of her family and friends, Rae had a deep love of animals, and kept many throughout her life. She showed her love of family and friends by feeding you, and anyone else who entered her orbit, Rae was always ready to put food on the table for any who stopped by. She was both passionate and stubborn in turn, and would always see only the best in others. She is survived by her husband of 40 years, Gary Barney, her best friend and one true love, her children, Lisa (Phil) Jackson, Angel (Brandon) Sparger, Hollie Barney (Caleb Thomas), Cody Clark, G.K. Clark (Jamie Wood) and 13 grandchildren as well as 5 great grandchildren also her brother Andy (Janet) Hansen as well as to many nieces and nephews to count. She is preceded in death by her parents Orwen and Pearl Johnson, her children Marla Owens and Casey Owens, and her siblings Anne Tiede, Earl Johnson, Dorothy Johnson, and Lila Scott. Graveside Services will be Friday, June 5, 2020 @ 11:00 AM at the Vernal Memorial Park.
