Rama Jean Sorensen

Rama Jean Hall Sorensen. November 1, 1926 - September 8, 2017. Jean was born on November 1, 1926 in Denver, Colorado. She was adopted by a wonderful couple, Leslie O. and D. Madge Hall. She grew up in Palisade, Colorado. She graduated from Palisade High School and went to Oral Roberts University. She married Carl Fredrick Sorensen on April 25, 1948 in Hotchkiss, Colorado. Shortly after their marriage, they returned to Meeker to live. She worked over 25 years for Meeker High School. She loved gardening and keeping up her home. She loved to camp and fish and traveling around the great state of Colorado. She passed away September 8, 2017 at home with her loved ones by her side. She is survived by her daughters Donna (George - deceased) Morris, Kathy (Dan) Armour, and Leslie Sorensen with 3 grandchildren Jeannetta (Robert) Wadsworth, Rob (Kelly) Armour, and James Morris. She had 7 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild. She also leave behind her honorary sister, Shirley Goosman, and honorary son, Wiley Berthelson. She is predeceased by her husband, Carl Sorensen and her infant son, Allen Edward. Graveside services will be Monday September 18, 2017 at 11:00 am at Highlands Cemetery in Meeker, Colorado The family would like to thank Dr. Landa and the caregivers of Western Slope In-home Care for their excellent care.
