Reita Ruppe

Reita Arlene Ruppe, loving wife of Jack B. Ruppe, returned to the loving arms of our Savior on April 12^th 2024 following a 2 decade long battle with Alzheimer’s Disease.  As a devoted mother of 6, her life was spent in service to her family, her community and to the Savior as a faithful member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints. 

Reita loved the gospel and lived it to the fullest.  She served in many capacities from Cub Scout Leader to Stake Relief Society President.  Having never met a stranger, Reita loved sharing the gospel with everyone.  She and her sweetheart served a work mission in Alberta Canada, remodeling homes for the ranch hands who worked the 5000 head, church owned cattle ranch.

Next to her family, her home was her pride and joy.  She was a master homemaker in every sense of the word.  She specialized in keeping a tidy home and, much to the delight of everyone, baking homemade bread and cinnamon rolls.  She loved music and delighted in singing with the Jensen Community Singing Mothers.

Reita leaves behind an amazing posterity including 22 grandchildren and 57 great-grandchildren along with countless nieces, nephews and friends whom she counts as family.  

She is survived by Jack, her devoted husband of 68 years.  Sons Lorn (Cindy), Scott (Carrie), Kyle (Bobbie) and daughter JaRee (Doug) Mcconkie.  

She is preceded in death by parents, William and LaRue Winder and C.P. “Mike” and Reva Ruppe.  Son Cal (LaDawn) Ruppe, Daughter Tralynne (Daniel) Migliori and Daughter-in Law Rhonda Ruppe.

As her amazing example of faith and love is passed from generation to generation, may her motto and compass, “Families Are Forever” continue to guide us all until we meet again.
