Richard Wayne Batty

Richard Wayne Batty 64 of Rock Springs formerly of Vernal passed away at his home Friday June 26, 2020.

He was Born July 31,1955 in Great Lakes, Illinois  To Wayne and Karen Kaiser Batty 

Richard was a kind and holistic man, believing that nature’s bounty would heal the mental and physical body. 

He had a wonderful and jolly attitude towards life. He would always give to others even if he didn’t have enough to give.

Richard was a man of pride , a loving brother, father and Grandfather. He will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his brother David (Jodi) Batty and sisters Sheila Slaugh and Sherry (Farley) Sowards 
-Richards Children  Ryan Gardiner, Jamie (Keith)Walker, Rory(Tasha)Batty, Brandon (Lisa) Batty, Shandi (Jaysen) May
-Grandfather to  14 grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his parents Wayne and Karen Batty, Sisters Janiel Batty, Diane Bigelow, Brother Kevin Batty and son Ryan Gardiner
-The last 18 years he resided in Rock Springs with his love Linda Cranford.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday July 1, 2020 at 11 AM at the Blackburn and Sons Vernal Mortuary (15 East 100 North)

a viewing will be held Wednesday 9:30-11 AM interment will be in the Vernal Memorial Park.
