Laine Burrows

Laine Burrows, 71, passed away on February 16, 2025, he freed himself from the pain he was in. Laine was born in Kearns Utah to Phil and Lamola, he was one of 6 children. 

He graduated from Panguitch High School in 1971, From there he became a "Trucker" for the next 47 years, Retiring from Foreland Corp in January of 2020. Leaving behind many friendships formed over the years. 

After he retired, he led the lazy life, gardening and watching his "soapy", General Hospital. He loved his grandbabies and was Laiklyn's favorite person. His grandkids will never forget "Don't drink grandpa's Pepsi"

Laine was baptized and confirmed on June 22, 1997 at Zion Lutheran Church in Kanab, Utah, and was a member of Our Savior Lutheran Church in Vernal, Utah. In his final days, he found peace in the belief that he was meant to be by God's side and free from pain. 

Laine is survived by his wife Kathleen; children Cody (Bernadette)Burrows of Vernal, UT; Brandi (Colin) Sadlier of Vernal, UT; Josh (Rose) Burrows, Texas; Shawn Merz, Morgan, Utah and Heidi Heaton of Vernal, UT. 18 Grandchildren and 10 Great-grandchildren. 

He was preceded in death by his father Phil, Mother Lamola, and her husband Gene, and Kathleen's parents CP and Jessie Pederson. Son Pat Burrows, Grandsons Jayden and Trevor Burrows, and brothers Jim and Bill Burrows.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, February 22, 2025 at 2 PM at the Our Savior Lutheran Church (370 South 500 West) family will great friends 1:30 - 2 PM prior to the services at the church. Burial will be in the Vernal Memorial Park.
