Rondle Rogers 93, of Vernal, passed away Monday December 9, 2013 at his home. He was born October 3, 1920 in Vernal, Utah to Marion P. and Elizabeth Kidd Rogers. He graduated from Alterra high school in 1940 before serving our country in the US Army during World War II. Rondle married his sweet heart Anna Fay Snow November 23, 1961 in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He made his home in Vernal where he raised award winning registered Black Angus cattle. Farming and his cattle where a great love and satisfaction of hard work he learned as a young man. He also drove school bus for Uintah school district for over 30 years. Rondle served in various callings in the gospel, and loved his family most of all. He is survived by his wife Anna Fay, sons Randy Rogers, Tim (Brenda) Rogers 8 Grandchildren and 10 Great Grandchildren. He is preceded in death by a daughter Cathy Fay Ross; Parents, brothers Leonard, Raymond, Ivan and Norman, sisters Albertha Ferguson, Althea Bodily and Vera Harrison Funeral services will be conducted Friday December 13, at 11:00 am at the Vernal 4th ward LDS Chapel (235 East 600 South). Friends may call Thursday from 6-8 p.m. at the Blackburn Vernal Mortuary and 1 hour prior to services at the Church, Burial in the Vernal Memorial Park, With Military Honors from the American Legion and Utah National Guard. Services have been entrusted to the care of Blackburn Vernal Mortuary.
