Ryan L Oaks

Ryan Lee Oaks, age 50, of Vernal Utah, passed away on July 28, 2024. Ryan was born in Vernal Utah, July 4, 1974 to Jeffery M. Oaks and Ramona Gerrard Barnes.

 Ryan loved hunting, mudding, camping, arrowhead hunting, gold-panning, and listening to music. Ryan loved spending time with his sons most of all. 

 Ryan was also a veteran of the Marine Corps. 

 Ryan is survived by parents Jeff (Kayla) Oaks, Mona Barnes, and William (Terri) McCurdy, Children; Yaeger (Kennedy) Oaks and Haegen (Hannah) Oaks, Grandchild; Augustine April Oaks, Brothers; Deven (Aryn) Oaks, Ben (Melissa) Barnes, Charles McCurdy, William (Jen) McCurdy, sisters; Tiffany (Tyler) Hoffman and Shannon McCurdy. 

 He was preceded in death by his stepfather Merritt Barnes, brother Paul Oaks, grandparents Salty and Levine Oaks, Thomas Earnest Gerrard, Virgina Elsie Sandchez, and Bud and Lela Barnes.

 Memorial Services /Celebration of Life will be held Tuesday, August 6, 2024 from 6-8 PM at the Blackburn Mortuary.
