Shane D. Cook

December 16, 1958 ~ May 13, 2015 Shane D. Cook, age 56, passed away May 13, 2015 in Vernal, Utah. Shane was born December 16, 1958 to Darvel W. and Verla Roper Cook. Shane grow up with three brothers, Dave (Brenda); Verlyn (Ann); Nyle (Jolene) Cook and two sisters, Darla (Morgan) Caldwell, and Linda (Allan) Holmes. Shane married Viola Margaret Gallegos on July 17, 1982. They later divorced. Together they had four children, Dixie Marie, Nicki Lee, Shawna and Levi Shane Cook. His granddaughter Laryssa, and grandson Braxxtyon . Shane was preceded in death by his father Darvel, his ex-wife Viola and daughter Nicki. Shane worked for various people in the Oilfield industry in Wyoming, Colorado and Utah. He lived most of his life in Vernal where he raised his children. He had many friends and enjoyed living life. Graveside services will be Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at 11:00 A.M. at the Maeser Fairview Cemetery, Services are under the direction of Blackburn Vernal Mortuary.
