Shawn Glen Hemphill

Shawn Glen Hemphill 47, of Vernal passed away at his home June 27, 2020. He was born March 1,1973 in Vernal Utah to David Leon Sr and Sharlene Sorenson Hemphill.

Shawn loved being in the Mountains, hiking fishing, hunting, being around the campfires.

He loved his family gatherings, barbeques and picnics. What Shawn loved most was spending time with his family.

Shawn worked for Baker Petrolite and also in building construction.

He is survived by his wife, Marla Allred Hemphill; son, Dayson Shawn Hemphill; Daughter, Kymberlie Rose (Logan) Joyce:

Parents: Siblings:  David Jr. Hemphill, Shelly (Mark) Brixey, Brent (Amy) Hemphill, Sheldon Hemphill Sharina (Neil) Hillis.

Many aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be conducted on Friday, July 3, 2020  at 11 A.M  At the Blackburn and Sons Vernal Mortuary. 

Viewings will be held Thursday, 5:00-8:00 pm and Friday1 Hour prior to the services. All at the Mortuary. Burial will be in the Vernal Memorial Park. Services are entrusted to the care of Blackburn & Sons Vernal Mortuary.
