Steven Allan Castle

Steve Allen Castle passed away Thursday, October 2, 2014. Steve was born January 20, 1956 to Rondall Castle and Joan Priebe in Jerome, Idaho. He is survived by his daughter and son-in law Candy and Sam Rendon of Vernal, Utah; his grandchildren, Samantha Nunez, Desiree Rendon, Samuel Rendon, and Nathan Rendon; sisters, Marie Underwood, Sharon (Michael) Day, Jackie Bruhn; several nieces and nephews; and step-father, Freddie Priebe. Steve was preceded in death by his father, Ron of Burly Idaho and his mother, Joan of Hazelton, Idaho. His first love was his family, especially his grandchildren. He was an amazing grandfather that spent every minute he could with his grandchildren. He enjoyed with them fishing, four-wheeling, and the outdoors. He taught them mechanical skills and recently helped his grandson to restore his first vehicle. He will be greatly missed, but he left a great legacy to hold on to. His second love was to rescue and restore classic automobiles. He was an excellent mechanic that appreciated the art of restoration. In his younger years, he served his country by serving in the National Guard. To those he called friends, we was fiercely loyal and someone to count on. Steve was loved by all that knew him. There will be a small graveside service on Saturday, October 11th in the Vernal Memorial Park at 11:00 a.m. Open house to follow at Brady Trucking, 5130 South 5400 East, Vernal UT.
