Steven Joseph Vanesian

On the early morning of June 21, 2014 our beloved Stevie Joe joined hands with his grandpa, to ride in the clouds of heaven. Steven Joseph Vanesian was born in Tempe, AZ. on December 19, 1994 to Sharline Ratliff and Steve Vanesian. With such a compassionate soul, Steven had a love for the adventurous side of life. He loved to hunt, golf, fish, and rodeo. From the time he could stand he was slinging a rope with his grandpa Dave. As a child, if there was a mud puddle, you would find him in it. He had a smile that would leave an ever lasting impression. He never met a person he did not like. He always made you feel wanted and welcome. He was a very loyal friend, brother, and son. Nothing ever seemed impossible for Stevie Joe. He captured our hearts from the day he was born, and kept us on our toes or running. Steven loved to travel and took every chance to see the world. Now, you will get to lil' buddy. You will always be with us; we will keep you in our hearts forever. Words can't describe the way he was loved. And the stories people have told us, stories that would make you laugh until you cried. So many memories captured in many pictures shared. He will forever be the light of our lives. Words cannot express how deeply he will be missed. Steven graduated from Uintah High School in 2013, and received a certificate in welding. He then went to work with his Uncle Smokey; He then followed his mom and Landon to chase the pipeline dream. He was such a hard worker, always finding humor in what needed to be done. He always wanted to expand his horizons with each new place in his life. Steven is survived by his parents Landon and Sharline Ratliff, and Steve Vanesian. Siblings: Jenny, Dane, Maddy, Daja, and Dala. Proud Grandparents: David and Dot Broome, Steve and Pam Vanesian, and Leo and Melba LeBaron, Gerald and Margaret Harrell, and Miguel and Teresa Venzor along with many aunts, uncles, and cousins who will all love and miss him dearly. He is preceded in his death by his grandpa David Broome, and Gerald Harrell and step dad Troy Harrell. Steven, you are the light of my life. The sweet soul to my heart, my everything. You made me laugh everyday even if you were in trouble. I'm so proud to have been given this opportunity to be your mom. Not only were you my son, you were my very best friend. My secret keeper, the best co-pilot I could ask for. I will miss you more than you will ever know. I will miss your laugh, and your charming smile. I will never forget the way you said mom. I'm going to miss everything about you. I will cherish the years God gave us together. And I can't wait to see you again. I hope that you enjoy yourself up there; I bet you are hanging with your best buddy, grandpa. I love you like crazy son.
