Sydney Colwell

Sydney passed away peacefully at her home in Huachuca, Arizona with her husband (Alan Colwell) AC and her son, Thomas by her side. She was born in Roosevelt, Utah to Sherry Massey Jensen.

Sydney graduated in 1988 from Uintah high School in Vernal, Utah. She later married Alan Colwell, June 29, 2003, in Emerald Bay, Lake Tahoe. They lived in Sacramento, California and later moved to Huachuca, Arizona.

Syd was a very talented lady when it came to scrap-booking and card making. She was a perfectionist and she put her whole heart into it. She loved it. She also loved NasCar races. She spent a lot of time at the racetrack.

She made friends with everyone she came in contact with. She was a pleasure to be around and was always one that let you know where you stood with things.

She is survived by; Alan Colwell (husband); Thomas Guerrera (Son); Sherry (Daryl) Jensen (mother); Ron Richards (Diana Jones-Companion) (Father); Rusty Richards (brother); Rick (Mindy) Jensen (step-brother); Michael Jensen (Step-brother); Adam Jones (Step-brother; Tenith Jones (Step-sister); Tami Jones (Step-sister); Several cousins, aunts and uncles.

Funeral services were conducted on Thursday, June 14, 2018 @ 11:00 a.m. at the Uintah Conference Center (313 South 100 East) Viewings Wednesday from 6-8 PM. At the Mortuary and one hour prior to the services all at the Conference Center. Burial will be in the Rock Point Cemetery, under the care and direction of the Blackburn and Sons Vernal Mortuary and Cremation Care.
