Sylvia Workman Gardner

January 25, 1939 - March 09, 2015We are saddened to announce the passing of Sylvia Gail Workman Gardner. Our sweet mother, grandmother, sister and friend peacefully passed away of natural causes while surrounded by her loved ones on March 9, 2015. Sylvia was a friend to all and loved by many. She was preceded in death by her parents, Thomas and Anita Workman and her brother Russell Workman. She was married to Harold Jay Gardner and they raised five children, Jaylyn (Martin) Curtis, Troy Gardner, Brett (Kim) Gardner, Carrie (Dan) Park, Nichole (John) Brown, (16 ) grandchildren and (15 ) great grandchildren along with her sisters Charmaine (Bill) Denton and Carolee Kientz. We would like to extend special thanks to the staff at Uintah Care Center for their special care and love for Sylvia. She and her family loves her roommate and close friend Lois Henline. Services will be held Saturday March 14, 2015 at 11:00 am at the Thomas-Blackburn Mortuary, 15 East 100 North, Vernal, Utah 84078 followed by the internment at 2:00 pm at the Roosevelt Memorial Park, located on the West end of Roosevelt. If desired, In lieu of flowers please make donations to Sylvia's favorite charity, St. Jude's Hospital.
