Terri Lanete Gray

Terri Gray age 58, died August 2, 2019 at her home in Vernal.

She was born February 1, 1961 in Roosevelt, Utah. To Joseph Curtis and Verla Mable Despain Mecham. 

Terri was a lover of animals and people. She loved working at the veterinarian clinic and helping every animal she could and although health conditions prevented her from working at the clinic there was no way you could take the work she did there out of her heart, she continued to be the one family and friends turned to for all there pet questions and needs and she would happily offer her knowledge and help in any way she could.
Her love for animals could only be overshadowed for her love of helping people. Those who were close to her knew they could call, text, or stop by and she would lend an ear and be there to celebrate with you or be the shoulder you needed to cry on.
If she wasn't the heart of the whole neighborhood she definitely was for the ones in the cult-de-sac. She had a special relationship with each one of her neighbors and you could bet if you couldn't see your kids running around you'd find them sitting with her in the garage chatting away over a handful of mints or cup of ice cream. She was the night owl of the neighborhood and it offered a special comfort knowing she was sitting in her garage watching over everyone, she'd even let the kids know that burglars wouldn't be able to get past her at night. 
If you ever needed an update on a NASCAR race Terri had you covered. She loved watching the races on tv and loved watching her sons race locally even more. She always had a proud story to tell about Scott's racing and Travis's hunting. 
If you wanted to know love and what true best friends looked like you had to go see Terri and Dennis, they would make you laugh as you'd watch one roll their eyes at the other while they weren't looking, usually over something in their yard and how and where it was to be planted. However, their system worked because they have the best looking yard around. 
Terri's wish was Dennis's command, they took care of each other in their own way and you could tell they were made for one another. 
Terri was someone you couldn't help but open up to and in return she opened herself up just as much. You knew her life story and loved her for the person it had made her. 

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints,

Terri is survived by her Best friend Dennis Lind: Her sons Scott and Travis and 4 grandchildren she loved dearly. 
And many friends she made feel like family. 

brothers Joseph, Russell and sister Tonya.

She is preceded in death by her parents.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday August 8, 2019 at the Naples Chapel
(2313 South 1500 East) friends may call 9:45-10:45 at the church
Burial will be in the Rock Point Cemetery.
