Troy Vaughn Harrell

Gerald and Margatett Harrell will lay their youngest son, Troy Vaughn Harrell, to rest on June 9, 2012. Troy was born December 10, 1982 in Vernal, Utah. He lettered in football and graduated with the Uintah High school class of 1992. He worked in the oilfield, and for the last several years, was a driller for Craigs Roustabout in Vernal. Troy loved camping, fishing, and 4-wheeler riding but most of all, he loved spending time with his family and friends. He married Sharline Postma in July of 2008 and they later divorced. Troy passed away on June 5, 2012 in Heber City, Utah. Troy is survived by his Father; Gerald Harrell, Mother; Margarett Harrell, stepchildren; Steven Vanesian and Jenny Radeke, siblings; Larry Wayne Nichols of Reno, Nevada, Ricky Nichols of Vernal, Jackie Nichols of Salt Lake City, Utah, Cindy Phillips, Gerald Allen Harrell Jr., Richie Harrell, and Katricia Harrell all of Vernal, and many nieces and nephews. Troy was a light in the lives of everyone who knew him-a loyal friend, brother and son. Words cannot express how deeply he will be missed. We love you brother. Funeral services will be held Saturday, June 9, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at the Uintah Stake Center. A viewing will be held Friday evening from 6-8 at the Blackburn Vernal Mortuary and 1 hour prior to services at the chapel. Burial will be in the Vernal Memorial Park under the care and direction of the Blackburn Vernal Mortuary.
