Vondalee Johnson Bingham passed away on September 12, 2016. She was born on June 8, 1932 to Verdin R. Johnson and Marie McConkie Johnson in Vernal, Utah. Both preceded her in death along with her first husband Travis L. Wallis of Portales, New Mexico and her second husband William P. Bingham of Vernal. Vondalee is survived by her son Brad L. Wallis of Ridgway, Colorado, her sister Maureen Johnson (Glade) Berry of Cedar Fork, Utah, her brother Laird (Judy) Johnson of Lusk, Wyoming, four grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren, many nieces, nephews and their families. Vondalee was very active in the LDS church all her life. She served in many positions including Relief Society President, Ward Chorister, and as a temple worker in both the Provo and Timp View temples. She enjoyed traveling, especially on cruises with her sister and other family members. Although Vondalee lived much of her life in Vernal, she also lived in New York City, Los Angeles, Tampa, St. George and most recently American Fork, Utah. Vondalee was an amiable person who enjoyed being around others. She had a rich and fulfilling life and will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Funeral services will be held on September 21, 2016 at 11:00 a.m. at the Blackburn Vernal Mortuary. Friends and family may call 1 hour prior to services. Burial will be in the Measer Fairview Cemetery.
