Wanda Holmes

Wanda Jean Holmes was a dedicated wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. Wanda was born September 14, 1953  in Buffalo Valley, Oklahoma, to Buster and Leona Baxter Ross.  Her family was her everything. She helped hands on raise several generations. She was always there with a witty joke and sound advice to help us navigate this crazy life.
She roped and rodeoed with her beloved husband and went all the way to national finals together. She literally followed her man everywhere. She always took the backseat and put her family first. She also loved working in her yards. Again even then the kids came first. She was always planting trees, flowers, and birdhouses.  She kept Buzz busy building swing sets, sandboxes, treehouses and cabins for all of the kids she cherished so much. She was the constant in our family and was there for us no matter what. Everyone knew they could always call grandma! Including all the friends and their kids that inevitability became family.
